A good clump of the people on Pownce are on Twitter too, so that's an issue. Who wants to see two of the same posts? Anyway, I don't think Twitter will adopt Pownce's feature set. They need to worrying about staying stable before doing so anyway. I think that's why all of these other apps/sites/etc. will possibly continue on a Firefox-like model.
